Asbestos Management

Since asbestos was commonly used in housing construction materials before the 1990s, NRH must advise all tenants living in communities built before 1990 of the presence of, or the potential presence of, asbestos in their homes.

It is important to know that:

  • Asbestos is not hazardous to health if it is left undisturbed
  • NRH has a comprehensive asbestos management program
  • NRH staff have received asbestos training
