NRH Board of Directors Elects 2022 Officers with Regional Councillor Gary Zalepa as new NRH Chair
NIAGARA REGION, January 21, 2022 – At their January 21 meeting, the Niagara Regional Housing (NRH) Board of Directors elected the following Executive Committee to provide leadership for the Board in 2022:
- Chair – Gary Zalepa (Regional Councillor, Niagara-on-the-Lake). Councillor Zalepa is serving his first term on the NRH Board. He held the role of Treasurer through 2019-2020 and Vice-Chair from 2020-2021.
- Vice-Chair - Barbara Butters (Regional Councillor, Port Colborne). Councillor Butters is serving her first term on the NRH Board. She held the position of Treasurer from 2020-2021
- Secretary – Tom Insinna (Regional Councillor, Fort Erie) is serving his first term on the NRH Board and is a retired member of the RCMP
- Treasurer – Drew Toth (Community Director, Thorold) joined the NRH Board in December 2021 and is founder of Toth Group Real Estate
The NRH Board is comprised of five Regional Councillors and four Community Directors. Also on the Board are Betty Ann Baker (Community Director, St. Catharines), David Mole (Community Director, Pelham), Walter Sendzik (Regional Councillor, St. Catharines) Betty Lou Souter (Community Director, St. Catharines), and Leanna Villella (Regional Councillor, Welland).
