Need help with your Electricity Bill?

Beginning on January 1, 2016, The Ontario Electricity Support Program will provide an ongoing monthly rate reduction directly on the bills of eligible low-income electricity ratepayers. Eligible ratepayers may receive a maximum credit of up to $50 per month.

NRH's Welcome Home Niagara program offers down payment assistance for eligible applicants to buy a home.

Due to the number of applications received for this program and the availability of program funds, no new applications for the 2018 Welcome Home Niagara Homeownership Program will be accepted at this time. Please check back in April 2019.

Niagara Renovates Program

Homeowner

A program that assists low to moderate income households in Niagara with repairs and/or accessibility modifications to their homes.

To apply, print and complete the application form(English) /(Francais).

Secondary Suites

A program that funds the creation of secondary suites in single family homes. A secondary suite is defined as a self-contained, separate unit with sleeping, full kitchen and bath facilities and a separate entrance.

A program that provides funding to owners of rental properties in Niagara to assist in major repair of units and accessibility modifications.
